Signing up for a new Jackpot City Bingo account is easy. All you have to do is click on the OPEN ACCOUNT link on the home page and enter your personal information (name, address, email address, etc.) into the pop-up window that appears. The entire process takes just a minute or two, and when you have finished you can log in and start playing. Powered by Virtue Fusion, Jackpot City Bingo does not require a download of any software but instead commandeers a web browser window to display the gaming environment. Jackpot City Bingo is 90 ball bingo, and pays prizes to the first player to make one line, two lines and a full house. Tickets cost from 5p each and you can buy anything from one ticket to six strips (which is 36 tickets). Games take place day and night approximately every six minutes. In addition to the normal prizes there are two progressive jackpots to shoot for. The Abso-Blingo-Lutely progressive starts at £5,000 and increased until a player achieves a full house in 33 balls or less. A numbers board, along with account and game information, appears at the top of the screen. The design is simple, smart and effective. Numbers are called very professionally, though you do have the option to mute the caller if you want to. Other options allow you to change the shape of your dauber (magic wand or hammer, anyone?) as well as the colour and style of the daub pattern. You can also enter information into your personal Profile, such as your star sign, hobbies, favourite movie and what you will do if you win big at bingo. These profiles are a nice touch and allow you to find out a little more about the people you are chatting to without giving away your real life identity. As well as the main bingo game you can also play a number of mini games, such as slot machines or roulette. These are all nicely presented and some of them have substantial jackpots of their own, so you will never be short of either entertainment or opportunities to win yourself a decent sum of money. Overall, Jackpot City Bingo is a very nice site. It isn’t yet as busy as some of the more established bingo rooms, but that’s because it is relatively new on the scene. Given time, we think that this site will become as busy as it is destined to be popular.
