Ann Summers Bingo

Review

ann summers bingoAnn Summers bingo is a site that likes to pack a little raunch into the game, and it succeeds brilliantly, grabbing players by the metaphorical bingo balls and luring them into a den of sauce and naughtiness as only Ann Summers knows how.

Like the famous High Street shops, Ann Summers bingo is created mainly for the ladies, but men are just as welcome if they don’t mind putting up with gratuitous images of the latest lingerie items (nicely modelled in our opinion) and they aren’t scared of live chat with potentially rowdy female players.

The Ann Summers bingo site is powered by St Minver, and there is no software to download. Instead, just sign up for a new account and you can start playing immediately in your browser. The game here is 90 ball bingo, and tickets cost from just 10p each.

The screen is nicely presented. Bingo tickets appear on the right hand side of the screen, with a large chat window on the left. Game and account information appears at the top of the screen, along with a numbers board.

One of the first things you will notice when you play here is that the male caller does his best to sound like someone out of a porn film or 1980’s coffee advert, depending on your frame of reference. The “bingo lingo” here is not for the shy – phrases like, “Meal for two, number 69” and “Treat me mean, number 13” are the order of the day. For hetero male players, the ability to mute the caller (after you’ve had enough of laughing) is very much appreciated, but the ladies will probably want to turn the volume up.

As well as the usual prizes for a line, two lines and full house, there are two progressive jackpot prizes available. The “Giant” jackpot pays out if you make a full house in 37 numbers or less, and the “Snowball” (we’re hoping they mean the cold things we get in winter) pays out if you get a full house in 50 numbers or less. The Giant is obviously the larger, and there was a hefty five figure balance waiting to be won when we visited the site to review it.

As you can imagine, spirits run high in the chat room, but it’s all good clean fun and nothing that will raise your blood pressure to dangerously high levels. The people here are very friendly and gregarious, and chat games hosted by the moderators are an enjoyable way to try and win an extra cash prize.

A loyalty scheme that gives you points whenever you buy tickets, and when you have collected enough of these you can exchange them for anything from a Champagne Hamper to a weekend for two in Paris. Generous promotions are available, and new members can often look forward to receiving an Ann Summers product of some description when they have played a few games – see the web site for details.

The (pert) bottom line is that Ann Summers Bingo is saucy, fun and very enjoyable. Just try to avoid playing when your mother comes to tea.
