Wink Bingo Mini Cooper game rescheduled

Many online bingo players will have been a little put out at 9pm on New Years Day, why? For online bingo players who already had their bingo tickets and were sat waiting in anticipation the technical problems at Wink Bingo saw a bit of a melee in the chat rooms. And what compensation for the players eager to win a Mini Cooper? One free bingo ticket for the rescheduled game! Not much compensation really considering that Wink Bingo are continuing to sell tickets for the next week in the run up to the new game! Five free bingo tickets had previously been given to players in a postal campaign so to receive one as compensation seems a bit miserly – wouldn’t it have been better to compensate players with a bingo bonus?

Whilst we understand that with over 36,000 players having tickets for the big game at Wink Bingo the system may well have had a hernia and crashed, shouldn’t the popularity of the game, especially considering it played last year as well, been taken into consideration? Shouldn’t the technical bods at Wink Bingo run a test with the expected number of players to ensure that this sort of issue would not arise?

Let’s hope the rescheduled online bingo game plays without hitch or we could see a bingo riot on our hands!
