The Rise and Rise Of Online Bingo
Bingo is now a massive hit online, and it is set to generate more than £1 million profit for The Sun newspaper in its first year.
In just the first five months The Sun’s online bingo has become the biggest internet game in the world.
With huge stakes being placed, the British paper has been able to give away more than £5.2 million in prize money on the Sun Bingo website.
The website, said to be one of the best of its kind, allows players to experience the thrill of your local bingo hall in the comfort of your own armchair.
Sources said the number of registrations for its online gaming site has on average doubled each month since its launch. In fact, due to the massive success of this, The Sun’s sister paper have also launched their own version of the popular game.
It seems the majority of players are women, however 35% of players are men aged 18-34 years old and players spend on average more than two hours each day on the site.
Major bingo activity is at its peak after the television soaps have finished. It seems online bingo is now the easiest and cheapest way to enjoy a virtual social life whilst also earning yourself a few pounds.
