The developing world of bingo
The game of bingo dates back as early as the 16th Century when it was played as a simple number matching game.
Traditionally the UK bingo market was a place where you would likely encounter OAP's or those on a holiday beside the sea.
However land based bingo has enjoyed an extraordinary increase in popularity in recent times and is a pastime now relished by millions of people right across the world.
The progression has been attributed to the let-up in the UK governments gambling legislation which allowed land based bingo halls to employ more bingo machines which meant more business, and which in turn meant greater prizes.
But online bingo is a relatively recent phenomenon which has taken the world of online gaming by storm. In spite of the fact that a great deal of today’s award-winning online bingo software had already taken form as early as 2002, it was 4 years later that the game of online bingo became the universally enjoyed experience that it is today.
The highly developed online bingo technology employed today makes use of Random Number Generators (or RNGs’) and greatly advanced demographics and the evolution of the online bingo industry has been sustained by the introduction of progressively more sophisticated software.
