Imagine if you will your wedding day, as little girls many of us dream of a picture perfect wedding, the beautiful dress and a handsome husband to be stood at the altar waiting for us, eyes full of love and devotion. Play a little romantic background music while playing the scene in your head and then the sound of a needle scratching across a record as your husband to be glances at your dress and notices the online bingo club logo emblazoned across your torso! Would £5,000 be enough for this scene to actually happen or is it simply taking the bingo biscuit?
Whatever you think of the current advertising for many online bingo brands one portal is taking things to the extreme in an effort to get their name recognised. The portal has previously come underfire from the press with regard to their Bingo Wings campaign but seems to be intent on moving to Chavsville with the latest attempt to attract players to their site.
In all honesty, and we can only go by the feedback from people we have spoken to, who would agree to having an online bingo club logo on your invitations, menus, table settings and your dress for a measly £5,000? The general consensus is that no amount of money could put any form of logo, bingo or otherwise, on your perfect wedding dress!
What this brand seems to overlook is that any self respecting bride and groom really wouldn’t be interested in this offer and maybe he should spend a little time at a site called Chav Mum, they might be able to pick themselves up a bride who would sell her Nan for £5k!
We are hoping that this is just a premature April Fools joke and wouldn't be surpised to find that the brand has hired an actor and actress and filmed a mock wedding for release on YouTube on 1st April 2010!
