STV celebrates St Andrews Day
On the 30th November Scotland will celebrate the feast of St Andrew, its patron saint. During 2006, members of the Scottish parliament nominated St Andrews day as an official Scottish bank Holiday.
So it comes as no surprise that the folks over at Scotland's premier online bingo site STV bingo have opted to celebrate the day in style and are giving away an amazing 10,000 bingo points on the feast of their patron saint.
Since St Andrews days falls on November 30th, STV Bingo have selected the 30 ball as their 'hotball for the week, so any players calling house on the number 30 will be rewarded with an extra 5,000 bingo points in celebration of St Andrew.
There is also a Marks & Spencer food hamper, worth around £500 to be won at STV Bingo. Players calling bingo when the random 'X-mas' hamper pattern is played in the 75 ball bingo rooms will receive one entry per win into the free prize draw. One lucky winner will be chosen at random on 1st December and will be notified shortly afterwards.
Scottish TV Company STV began broadcasting back in 1957, and today airs a broad range of political, cultural and sports related TV programmes plus many ground-breaking documentaries and drama series to viewers in Scotland.
During 2006 STV opened their virtual doors and STV Bingo was born. The popular online bingo site appears to have gone from strength to strength and is now a prevalent venue amongst the massive numbers of online bingo enthusiasts across Scotland.
