Sharon Osbourne Feels the BuzzGala Bingo has announced that Sharon Osbourne, who isn’t ordinarily thought of as a massive bingo player, has become the new “face of Gala” in a new series of promotional advertisements which encourage viewers to “feel the buzz”.

Sharon, who for many years lived in the shadow of her more famous husband, heavy metal musician Ozzy Osbourne, has been carving out her own high-profile career as a celebrity in the last decade or so. She first made the headlines as the matriarch in MTV’s The Osbournes show, then as a judge on The X Factor alongside Simon Cowell. More recently, she launched The Sharon Osbourne Show on ITV. This chat show was sponsored by Gala Bingo, so the decision for her to help promote Gala Bingo in return looks like a fairly natural progression.

The new advertising campaign, which is aimed squarely at prime time television viewers, shows Sharon in a number of scenarios related to Gala Bingo. The aim is not only to raise the profile of Gala Bingo clubs themselves, but also to highlight the fact that people can enjoy the Gala Bingo experience online too.

The chat rooms at Gala Bingo on the internet are already very popular (online players frequently report that they enjoy the chat almost as much as the bingo game itself) but this popularity looks sure to increase even more.
