Online bingo TV sponsorship

If you haven’t seen one of the many adverts for online bingo on your small screens then it’s likely that you don’t watch television very often. The commercial breaks are filled with bingo balls, a fox, dancing dogs and talking food of late but the new craze seems to be sponsoring television programs. Think Bingo was the first to start with the online bingo TV sponsorship of the Jeremy Kyle Show and other big brand names have quickly followed suit.

Posh Bingo have just been replaced by Tasty Bingo as the main sponsors on ITV2, not surprising really when Tasty Bingo is the new product launched from Daub Ltd, the same company behind Posh Bingo. Think Bingo has currently made way for the new Foxy Bingo bumpers in the commercial breaks of the Jeremy Kyle Show and Tombola Bingo are just preparing their ‘Season 2’ of the Emmerdale bumpers. Not to mention that on ITV we are seeing a whole lot of mini clips for the new look ITV Bingo.

All of the online bingo TV sponsorship not only provides brand awareness for the sites advertising but it also is great for the industry as a whole. With more and more people aware that you can now play bingo on the internet, it’s no longer about getting people online to play the game but ensuring that it’s YOUR virtual doors that the enter!

However is the TV bingo sponsorship relevant to the clientele that a site is trying to attract? Does Foxy Bingo (or the other Cashcade brands) really want players through their doors like the stars of the Jeremy Kyle show? Not that we think that they really care, so long as they have money to spend – after all, Foxy can’t be expected to provide DNA samples because he is just a computer generated image now ;)
