Networked online bingo sites
When it comes to playing bingo online many players choose to register an account with multiple sites for a number of reasons. Often a new site launches and offers impressive welcome bonuses; free no deposit welcome bonus followed by a cash match deposit bonus for your first transaction. As people who write about online bingo we register with all sites and play the games in order to provide our readers with comprehensive reviews, however networked online bingo sites have an issue that we, and we are sure other players, find quite infuriating.
When registering an account with any site the normal bingo player won’t know instantly that this is one of the networked online bingo sites. That is until they come to finishing the registration process only to be greeted with an error in registration telling them that their email address or credit card is already registered. Another pitfall with some platforms is that whilst a site might boast a no deposit required welcome bonus a player who has an account at another site on the same network is not actually eligible to receive the free bingo bonus.
These issues need to be addressed. In our opinion a site should not be able to advertise a welcome bonus that is not available to ALL new players opening a new account at their site. After all, they want us to deposit there and won’t question the fact that we have another account at one of their other sites should we choose to instantly complete a financial transaction. A deposit will be accepted so why then should we not be eligible for the welcome bonus which is meant to be a ‘try before you buy’ offer. Whilst a player may be used to the bingo software used at a networked site because they have an account elsewhere, they are not used to the new sites layout and often aren’t even aware the site in question is part of a network.
With each new site that launches into the world of online bingo it's another brand for players to try. At what point will there be too many bingo sites and not enough players? And are the brands with the issues outlined above simply turning business away because of the small minority of players that they consider to be 'bonus hunters'?
