National Bingo game online

It has been rumoured for quite a while that we could be seeing the National Bingo game online and part of the rumour is/was that the requirements for any online bingo site to take part is that they must be on the Virtue Fusion bingo software. Just a few days ago we saw Paddy Power Bingo make the move from the Parlay Entertainment bingo software to Virtue Fusion and we have also exclusively revealed that on 7th May Virgin Bingo makes the same switch as Paddy Power Bingo.

Does this then mean that we are going to see the National Bingo game online sooner rather than later and if so what will it bring to the online bingo industry?  Already we are offered huge bingo jackpots at many online bingo sites with the likes of the big million pound coveralls on the network of sites powered by the 888Holdings/Globalcom bingo software although to date there has never been a winner of the £1 million prize.

If we do see the National Bingo game online then it is bound to shake the bingo industry up a little because with the backing of the Bingo Association there will no doubt be some strict guidelines laid down to the online bingo sites that choose to take part in what could prove to be a huge hit with players online.

Could we also see the National Bingo game on TV with a version of Bingo Night Live? It would make for interesting viewing and whether we see the National Bingo game online, on TV or in another format other than at land based bingo it is bound to generate plenty of interest both with online bingo players and operators alike.
