Men and bingo

Men and bingoWhat is it about men and bingo? As a male bingo player and writer I love the game of online bingo. Over the years it has given me a new lease of life, a new career, a few decent wins, hours of entertainment and a few special people that I know will be friends for life. The trouble is I am in the minority, most men steer well clear of bingo because they think it is the domain of old ladies with blue rinses discussing 'the youth of today'.

On numerous occasions whilst talking with my male friends I find myself having to justify my love of the game even though these same friends thinking nothing of spending hours and great deals of money on casino and poker sites.

Men that dismiss online bingo really are missing out a great time, If only they would take ten minutes and register at a site or two they would realise the game of online bingo is not so different to casino or poker. The game of bingo at its purest form is just a game of luck, the fact it is played on cards with a virtual dauber does not make it a 'woman's game'. Add to this the fact that the side games on online bingo sites are identical to those offered by casino sites and you have the chance to win life changing amounts of money the reasons for not giving bingo a chance become less and less justified.

Luckily there are some men out there secure enough in their sexuality and masculinity that they do not fear being branded for playing online bingo. Right now male bingo players only account for about 35% of the market though so you can understand why women are giving priority when it comes to the majority of promotions and prizes. If you are a man and are reading this let me give you a little bit of advice (and I apologise in advance to the politically correct brigade). Online Bingo is an amazing place to meet women, with seven women to every one man playing bingo the saucy chat and flirtation in the chat rooms gives you a better chance of meeting the woman of your dreams then any pub or night club ever will; so tell me lads, now who's laughing?
