Local Drunk Ruins Bingo

A local drunk who injured a female police office has been banned from all pubs and clubs in his home city of Carlisle, but not the local bingo hall.

The man was given an anti-social behaviour order (ASBO) which still allows him to attend his local Gala Bingo in the city.

The young man, who is only 23, admitted to two counts of being drunk and disorderly and one count of resisting arrest. The exemption was granted and the thug was allowed to carry on attending bingo after he promised not to drink at all.

Local police have promised to monitor his behaviour at the local bingo hall. However, this has caused outrage amongst local bingo goers who enjoy having safe fun at the local bingo hall. Many bingo goers see their hall as a safe haven away from the world of binge drinking and violence and do not see why their hall has to be penalised because of a violent thug’s drinking problem. Many of the customers have vowed to stay away from the hall with one player vowing to stay away until the ban is enforced for the bingo hall as well. It seems a lot of the customers will be staying home to play online where they can still enjoy their bingo game. A group of pensioners who look forward to meeting up and playing bingo a couple of days a week are planning to meet up at their homes and play online instead.
