Live Bingo on the iPad

It was hailed as the wonder of modern technology and lots of people just couldn’t wait to go out and buy a brand new iPad. If you’ve treated yourself, then you’re probably already familiar with the App Store, which means you may have seen the launch of Live Bingo on the iPad. Live Bingo is a lot of fun, but there’s no playing for money, or winning anything, this is just a fun bingo game to wile away the hours.

This presents the only current downside to the Apple iPad, it may be mobile enough to drag to bed or use on the bus, but it doesn’t allow Flash software, which means that most UK online bingo sites won’t display. It makes it very restrictive and we’ve already heard of several bingo players who have bought one not realising.

However, with the launch of Live Bingo from the App store, it does show one thing, and that’s that it is possible to play bingo against other people across the Internet on the Apple iPad. Easy then, bingo sites just need to now develop software for bingo sites such as Sun Bingo allowing players to play Sun Bingo, online, on the move.

We’re in no doubt that this software is already being developed, however Apple is an American company, which means that legislation prevents ‘pay bingo’. It seems ludicrous that UK Bingo companies can be restricted by these US laws and can only see the online bingo for the iPad will be coming to an iPad near you, very soon!
