Is 80 the new 90 in bingo?
Quite a recent addition to the world of online bingo is 80 ball bingo, something that originally was found at bingo halls up and down the country in the form of Cashline, the game played between the main bingo sessions at big names like Mecca Bingo. Of course when Mecca came online it was only ever going to be a matter of time before they boasted an online version of the game with their internet bingo site being one of the first to offer 80 ball bingo. Of late though more and more bingo sites are adding the game to their portfolio is 80 the new 90 in bingo as 40 is the new 30 in age?
We doubt that 80 ball bingo is ever going to be as popular as the traditional UK bingo game, 90 ball bingo but for no other reason that that 80 ball bingo, on the whole, only offers two chances to win in each game whilst 90 ball bingo boasts three. However this can vary from site to site that boasts 80 ball bingo but the majority of games played will offer prize for the line winner and then the full house / coverall prize.
Eyes Down Bingo are one of the latest sites to add 80 ball bingo to their bingo offerings and Sky Bingo were just ahead when they introduced the game a couple of weeks ago. You only have to take a look at the player numbers in each room at any online bingo site to see that it is proving to be quite popular amongst the discerning bingo player.
