Grand National Winner

Online bingo players that frequent Tombola Bingo will have been watching the races at Aintree yesterday hoping that the horse picked at random for the Tombola Bingo sweepstakes was theirs. The Grand National winner for 2009 was a long shot at 100/1 and is called Mon Mome. For many players at the Tombola Bingo site this means a £5 credit into their bonus accounts.

The Tombola Bingo sweepstakes saw players who have deposited at the site randomly allocated a horse from one of the 40 in the Grand National and there were five bonus levels for the top five winning horses to be awarded.

  • Grand National winner – Mon Mome – players with this horse will be credited with £5
  • 2nd place – Comply or Die - players with this horse will be credited with £4
  • 3rd place – My Will - players with this horse will be credited with £3
  • 4th place – State of Play - players with this horse will be credited with £2
  • 5th place – Cerium - players with this horse will be credited with £1

The Grand National winner this year romped home some 12 lengths ahead of the rest of the field but there was also some sad news after the race; one of the horses, Hear the Echo, actually collapsed and died.

Whilst many online bingo players at Tombola Bingo will be seeing a little extra in their bingo balances over the next couple of days punters up and down the country who opted for the long shot Grand National winner, Mon Mome, will be celebrating as well.
