Naturally, we all assume the numbers being drawn in our games of bingo are being drawn completely at random.  So to hear that some bingo numbers are being fixed is distressing.  If fixed bingo numbers have been found at one bingo hall, how many others are going un-noticed and how long has it been going on?

At least we know bingo numbers being fixed at online bingo rooms is actually less likely.  All of the random number generators are tested by independent third parties as terms of the strict licensing conditions dictated by white list authorities.  And with all the games and draws being recorded, any case of fixed bingo numbers would come to light pretty quickly and the perpetrators would be found.

Further information came to light about the fixed bingo numbers in a few newspapers and it appears that two members of staff involved in the incident are romantically involved. It is also alleged that some sort of secret code was used to generate a specific set of numbers other than randomly generated ones that are used to play bingo with in all licensed bingo halls up and down the country.

The Gaming Commission are currently involved in the incident but as yet police have not been informed pending the result of the internal investigation.
