According to a report at Crains Manchester Business a new online bingo site could soon be available from the people behind Devilfish Poker. Devilfish Bingo is said to be launching by Devilfish Gaming Plc as they diversify into other areas of online gaming to raise a massive £300,000 in equity. So is Devilfish Poker likely to be any good? There is a huge difference between poker and bingo; whilst poker has an element of skill involved, online bingo is a game of chance.

As well as Devilfish Bingo there is reported to be a move into sports betting as well from Devilfish Gaming. DevilFish Poker was named after a UK poker player who is reported to have won over $5 million playing the game; Dave Ulliot is the face of Devilfish Poker but would his face fit for the Devilfish Bingo site?

This isn’t the first time that a poker brand has moved into the every popular online bingo platform; you only have to look at sites like William Hill Bingo to see that many online gaming companies are realising the potential to generate revenue from internet bingo.

It will be interesting to see how DevilFish Bingo looks if and when it ever launches and which bingo software will be chosen to power the online bingo games at the new site.
