Channel Five Bingo set for launch

When Bingo Night Live first launched onto our television screens we saw much interest online for their sponsors, ITV Bingo but once Bingo Night Live ended we saw the closure of ITV Bingo. The news today is that Channel Five Bingo is to launch soon in a bid to expand the channels digital business. Like ITV Bingo, Channel Five Bingo will be powered by PartyGaming, the group behind brands like Party Bingo and Party Poker.

Channel Five Bingo is set to launch within the next six months but is their likely to be much interest? We already have the choice of sites like Emmerdale Bingo and Friends Reunited to play online bingo at and both these sites, like the soon to launch Channel Five Bingo, are powered by PartyGaming.

With the online bingo industry at saturation point with new bingo sites launching all the time is it really ready for another offering from PartyGaming? Many believed that ITV Bingo was going to enjoy continued success but that success proved to be directly linked with the airing of Bingo Night Live. Channel Five Bingo will likely be heavily advertised in commercial breaks hopefully ensuring longevity for the soon to launch site.

It will be interesting to see if the Channel Five Bingo launch proves to be a success, if the new site proves to be one of the best bingo sites or whether, like many before it, it proves to be a flash in the pan for the partnership between Channel Five and PartyGaming.
