Buckingham Bingo advert

Buckingham Bingo has long been a name associated with land based bingo halls and just a while ago the site launched their online offering called Bucky Bingo. Along with the new bingo site came the Buckingham Bingo advert and if you haven’t yet caught a glimpse of them on your television screens then you won’t have noticed that their mascot tries to emulate the every popular Foxy from Foxy Bingo.

The Buckingham Bingo advert does grab the viewers attention, not so much with the visual content but with the voiceover used to market this online bingo site. The star of the adverts, presumably called Bucky, has a distinct James Brown style voice and even his style of dress has a 70’s throwback feel to it with a little bit of ‘pimp’ thrown in for good measure.

Bucky starts the Buckingham Bingo advert by knocking his cane against the screen before starting his ‘song’ telling you to ‘get ready and play the Bucky Bingo’ and ‘get his Bucky Bonus’. There is, of course, the obligatory lap top in the advert but it lacks the two other, seemingly vital, ingredients – a lady and bingo balls!

The music for the Buckingham Bingo advert will definitely grab the viewer’s attention and there is something a little appealing about the star of the commercial. The site however has so much more to offer then what is depicted in the 20 second tv bingo advert so maybe we will soon be seeing a more up to date version detailing the free bingo offerings available at Buckingham Bingo online, after all, this is the latest craze in the world of online bingo.
