Bingo Lingo

New to Bingo? Then you might appreciate a little help on bingo lingo:

Bingo board – This is the place that will display numbers called out during the game. Usually the board is lit.

Dauber – This is the special marker pen used to mark off numbers called, when playing online bingo a number of sites do this automatically for you.

Four corners bingo – This is a type of bingo played, which can be won by covering numbers which are placed in the four corners of the card. There are other patterns that can win you the game, e.g. blackout, postage stamp pattern.

Random number generator - This is when an electronic machine, instead of the caller, picks the numbers for the game.

Wrap-up  - This is the name of the game that completes a session. Other games are the speed game or quickie, which involves a very quickly called out coverall. Then there is moonlight bingo, which would usually commence when the moon comes up. Lastly, you also have the early bird game, which usually starts much earlier than the normal scheduled games.
