All Bingo Club helps save the planet

Almost everything we do in our day to day lives emits CO2, from switching on a light to popping out in the car or boiling the kettle.

The average PC emits somewhere in the region of 135kg of CO2 throughout the course of a year.

Now, environmentally aware online bingo operator, All Bingo Club, have launched a range of new 'green' promotions which have been dubbed the world’s very first green online bingo initiative. They encourage players to balance the carbon emissions from their home PCs simply by playing online bingo.

Part of the world-renowned Jackpot Factory, All Bingo Club have pledged that for each new member that signs up to their online bingo site, a sufficient number of new trees will be planted to offset the 135kg of CO2 that a PC would emit if used for a daily average of eight hours. Trees play a fundamental part in balancing both CO2 and oxygen levels in the atmosphere, and help to reduce the effects of global warming.

A spokesperson for All Bingo Club said of the initiative:

"We wanted an initiative, which would ensure that while people enjoyed playing bingo online they could rest assured that the emissions of their PC were offset. We believe All Bingo Club is the first green conscious bingo destination on the web."

In line with their new green campaign, All Bingo Club have added an environmentally friendly touch to their online bingo games. Any player calling house on the number three, which has a new alias - 'plant a tree' - will have a tree planted in honour of them.

Any players calling house on the number 73 - new nickname 'Queen Bee' - will be rewarded with an extra £73 in addition to their standard winnings. This move is aimed at raising awareness of the predicament of the Great British honey bee whose numbers have been significantly decreasing in recent years as a consequence of environmental changes.
