Alison Hammond is switching bingo teams

Alison was hailed as a huge Crown Bingo fan and spent a year promoting the site and even working as a guest caller but now it seems that Alison Hammond is switching bingo teams! You may remember back in September last year Alison Hammond was revealed as the new face of Crown Bingo.

For those of you who are not reality television fans Alison Hammond was the larger then life character from Big Brother who broke the garden table whilst jumping up and down to try and peak over the garden wall. She later found 'fame' starring in Celebrity Fit Club, Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes, hosting a regular slot on ITV’s This Morning.

Today an email dropped into our inbox letting us know about a new Virgin Bingo promotion where they are paying their players for their Xmas party snaps. Basically they want everyone’s funniest and most embarrassing Christmas party pics, these can either be emailed into the site or uploaded on the online bingo sites Facebook fan page. The five players whose photographs are deemed the best by a panel of Virgin Bingo judges will each win £50 cash.

With this in mind we ventured onto the online bingo sites Facebook page expecting a good laugh, maybe a few men in drag, people photocopying body parts and generally making a fool of themselves. Instead though I found several photographs Alison Hammond wearing a Virgin Bingo cap, sitting in the virgin Bingo offices having a great time playing online bingo games and signing photographs.

This got us wondering, is she really a bingo fan? Or is she just following the pay packet and selling her loyalty to the highest bidder? Maybe she is just a Virtue Fusion addict and is making her way through all of the offices picking up free pens and keyrings, either way she is no longer the face of Crown Bingo so where will she pop up next?
