Bingo Banko

Bingo Banko appears to be Denmark's version of what was our very own Bingo Night Live. Every Saturday night at 8pm on TV2 two comedians, Jacob Wilson and Simon Talbot host a show where viewers who have printed out there ‘plates’ (bingo cards) can play along for free and the chance to win great prizes from Bingo Banko.

The Grand Prize for Bingo Banko (details taken from their web page on 13th April 2010) is an all inclusive holiday for six people to the Black Sea Riveria in Bulgaria. Other prizes are also available and like the format for Bingo Night Live, Bingo Banko offers viewers who win the chance to compete in the next live show to win a brand new car!

Each Bingo Banko show plays three games, each of which are played on 90 ball bingo boards meaning that there are three winners for each Bingo Banko game. If a viewer has a winning claim then they have to telephone the number shown on the ticket and verify the claim by using the ‘Kontrolnummer’ printed on the bottom of each and every card. It is only if a player is lucky enough to get through to Jacob and Simon on the live Bingo Banko show that they have the chance to win prizes.

Obviously for us in the UK Bingo Banko isn’t accessible but it looks like a fun TV Bingo show. You Tube is jam packed with clips of Bingo Banko so here is one we found earlier (said in true Blue Peter style).
